ELISE RR JOSEPH

Australian designer, Elise Joseph has a degree in Industrial Design with Honours from RMIT University in Melbourne. During her degree she undertook an exchange semester in the Netherlands, at TU Delft.

Elise’s work combines casting, hand sculpting and 3D computer modelling to design and create forms in porcelain. She is interested in exploring the intersection between ceramic and technology to produce interesting forms and textures.

Studying Industrial Design whilst working as a waitress allowed Elise to develop creative skills and an intimate understanding of the hospitality sector. She seeks collaborative projects and enjoys working with chefs and restaurants to produce bespoke work that is unique, exciting and functional. 

Pieces are cast and individually finished by hand, then glazed and fired at the studio in North Fitzroy.
